Gardaí are investigating after a man in his 20s was found unconscious on a Co Wexford street last night.

Gardaí are investigating after a man in his 20s was found unconscious on a Co Wexford street last night.

It is understood he suffered a head injury and was found at St Michael’s Place in Gorey at around 9.30pm.

Gardaí said they are unsure as of yet if the man fell or was the victim of an assault.

He was rushed to Wexford General Hospital but later transferred to Beaumont in Dublin where his condition is described as stable.
