A man is in critical condition after he was attacked in Dublin last night.

A man is in critical condition after he was attacked in Dublin last night.

The incident happened at an apartment on Kelly's Row, in Dorset Street at around 1.45pm.

The victim, aged in his late 30s, was taken to the Mater Hospital, but has since been transferred to Beaumont Hospital, where he is said to be in a critical condition.

A man in his late 20s was arrested by gardaí this morning in connection with the assault.
