Man due in court over €5m drugs raids
A 45-year-old man is due in court in Dublin tomorrow charged in connection with a massive drugs bust.
A total €5.3m worth of cannabis, cocaine and ecstasy was seized after officers swooped on a number of drug distribution depots in counties Dublin and Meath yesterday and Wednesday.
A number of firearms were also seized.
This operation is understood to have resulted from many months of intelligence gathering.
Eight other men arrested in connection with the investigation remain in Garda custody this evening.
