Man due in court in connection with Wicklow road death

A man is due to appear in court later following a fatal road collision in county Wicklow in the early hours of yesterday morning.

A man is due to appear in court later following a fatal road collision in county Wicklow in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The single-vehicle crash happened at around 4am at Croneyhorn on the road between Shillelagh and Carnew.

A 23-year-old man died when the car he was a passenger in collided with a wall. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gardaí arrested a man in his early 20’s and he will appear at a sitting of Bray District Court today.
