A 54-year-old man has died in a house fire in Co Kerry.

Man dies in Kerry housefire

A 54-year-old man has died in a house fire in Co Kerry.

Gardaí were called to the scene of the blaze at Lackbrooder, Knocknagoshel at around 6pm yesterday.

The body of the man has been removed to Kerry General Hospital where a post mortem will take place.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
