A man has died following a collision between a car and a truck in Co Sligo this morning.

A man has died following a collision between a car and a truck in Co Sligo this morning.

The crash happened at Castlebaldwin, on the main Carrick-on-Shannon to Sligo road, shortly before 8.30am.

The victim, who was driving the car, is believed to be a local man.

The driver of the truck and a passenger in the car were taken to hospital, but their injuries are not life-threatening.
