Man charged with murdering his mother in Bray
A man has been charged with murdering his mother in County Wicklow.
The body of 50-year-old Lynn Cassidy was discovered in a house in Deepdales estate off the Southern Cross Road in Bray early Friday morning.
A post mortem revealed she suffered a violent death.
A Garda family liaison officer has been appointed to the case.
21-year-old Bijan Afshar appeared before a special sitting of Bray District Court this evening.
