A 20-year-old man is due in court later this evening charged in connection with a shooting in west Dublin on January 13.

Eighteen-year-old Luke Wilson was shot in the head as he walked through the National War Memorial Park in Inchicore, Dublin 8 last month.

The teenager survived the attack after calling 999 from his mobile phone.

The suspect has been charged in connection with the shooting and is appearing in court this evening.
