Man charged in connection with Daly death
Gardaí at Tullamore, investigating the killing of Christy Daly have this evening charged a 23-year-old man with an offence in connection with the investigation.
The man was arrested on Friday, February 14, at Clara and was detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 at Portlaoise Garda Station.
He is due to appear before Portlaoise District Court at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
Mr Daly’s body was discovered at Kilbride, Clara, Co Offaly on January 7.
