Man charged in connection with Ballymena drugs haul

A 30-year-old Belfast man is due to appear before North Antrim Magistrates tomorrow in connection with drugs seizures made in Ballymena yesterday afternoon.

A 30-year-old Belfast man is due to appear before North Antrim Magistrates tomorrow in connection with drugs seizures made in Ballymena yesterday afternoon.

Cannabis worth £175,000 (€251,000) and £50,000 (€72,000) worth of cocaine was recovered when a car crashed on the Macfin road on the outskirts of Ballymena.

The man is charged with possession and possession with intent to supply of class A and B drugs and allowing himself to travel in a stolen car.
