Gardaí investigating a gun attack in Dublin a month ago in which a 16 year old boy was injured, have arrested a man in his 20s.

The teenager was standing outside a house on Lismore Road in Crumlin on October 9 when a number of shots were fired from a passing car at about 9pm.

The man in custody is the third person to be detained in connection with the incident.

He was arrested in the south inner city yesterday and is being held at Crumlin Garda Station, under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act.
