A man, arrested in connection with the death of Eddie Hutch senior, has been released without charge.
The man in his aged in his mid-40s was detained by detectives in the west Dublin area on Monday.
He was released without charge this evening, and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
Mr Hutch, a Dublin-based taxi driver, was shot dead at his home on February 8.
His killing was in apparent retaliation for the murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel, part of a feud between two criminal gangs.
