A man has been arrested after a shot was fired in Limerick yesterday evening.

A man has been arrested after a shot was fired in Limerick yesterday evening.

It happened during an incident in the front garden of a house on Hyde Road at around 6:15pm.

A number of people were in the garden at the time, but nobody was injured.

Gardaí arrested a man in his 20s a short time later near the scene, and he's currently being detained at Roxboro Garda Station.
