Man arrested following Cork drive-by shooting due in court

A man is to appear in court in Cork this morning charged in connection with a drug seizure in the city.

A man is to appear in court in Cork this morning charged in connection with a drug seizure in the city.

He was one of three men arrested following a drive-by shooting in the Hollyhill area on Monday night.

A man in his twenties was treated in hospital after being shot in the elbow by a man on a motorbike.

Up to €8,000 worth of heroin was seized during follow-up searches.

Two of the men have since been released without charge while the third man is due in court this morning charged with heroin possession.
