Gardaí have launched a murder investigation after a mother of three was found dead following a fire in her home in Co Cork.
The woman's body was found in an upstairs bedroom in the house on Pembroke Crescent in Passage West around 1am this morning.
Her three children were staying with a relative for the weekend.
The State Pathologist Professor Marie Cassidy carried out a post mortem on the woman's body this evening at Cork University Hospital.
A man in his mid 30s has been arrested and is being held at Togher Garda Station.
