A man has been arrested after a drug seizure in Dublin city centre yesterday afternoon.

A man has been arrested after a drug seizure in Dublin city centre yesterday afternoon.

Cannabis plants and drug paraphernalia were found during the planned search of an apartment at Stafford House on Wolfe Tone Street.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being questioned at Store Street garda station.

Officers say the drugs will be analysed but are thought to have a street value of around €100,000.
