Two people have been injured in a road collision in Co. Limerick yesterday.

Two people have been injured in a road collision in Co. Limerick yesterday.

The drivers of the two cars involved in the accident, a man in his early 30s and a woman in her late 30s, were taken to University Hospital Limerick after the crash at Ballycampion, Bruff, at 5pm.

There were no passengers in either car.

The man is said to be seriously injured and has been transferred to Cork University Hospital, while the woman's injuries are non life threatening.

Gardaí in Bruff are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have been on the road around the time of the collision.
