The emergency services have brought a major fire at a recycling plant in Longford under control.

The emergency services have brought a major fire at a recycling plant in Longford under control.

The blaze broke out at Mulleady's, near Drumlish, just after 6am today.

Gardaí say nobody was injured in the incident.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination later today to determine the cause of the fire.
