Luas strike talks end for the weekend

Talks at the Workplace Relations Commission over planned strikes by Luas workers have ended for the weekend.

Operator Transdev and unions had been locked in talks throughout today, however they are set to return to the table on Monday morning.

Drivers, who make up 170 of the company's 250 staff, remain outside the process.

Transdev had already announced plans to provide buses on St Patrick's Day saying it's a family occasion.

There are several more days of strike action planned for later this month and the following month.
