Talks aimed at securing an extension of the Croke Park Agreement are expected to intesify this weekend.
The Labour Relations Commission has set out its plans to deal with key issues over the next two days.
Justice Minister Alan Shatter hit back yesterday accusing the Garda Representative Association of discrediting the force.
He also accused them of disrepecting the Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan, and urged them to return to the talks table.
The LRC has proposed a six-strand process to deal with key issues this weekend.
These include longer working hours, a pay cut for high earners, cuts to premium payments, overtime and increments.
