Gardaí have appealed for the public's help in finding 50-year-old Anthony Carberry, who has been missing for more than a week.

Gardaí have appealed for the public's help in finding 50-year-old Anthony Carberry from Longford, who has been missing for more than a week.

He is described as 6ft 4” in height, of stocky build, with brown hair.

When last seen on Friday, July 18, he was wearing a grey t-shirt and blue tracksuit trousers.

Gardaí are particularly appealing to anyone who may have observed a lone male walking on the N4 from Mullingar to Edgeworthstown between 11.30pm on that night and 5am on Saturday morning (July 19) to contact them.
