Police in London say they are concerned for the welfare of a Galway teenager, who has been missing since Tuesday night.

Police in London say they are concerned for the welfare of a Galway teenager, who has been missing since Tuesday night.

Eighteen-year-old Patrick Halpin, a DCU student from Loughrey, was last seen in Zoo nightclub off Leicester Square.

He was on a college trip to London, but left the club to go for food and did not return to his hostel.

When he was last seen he was wearing blue jeans and a blue T-shirt.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 from the UK.

Patrick's family have been using social media to raise awareness of his disappearance.
