Latest: Up to 3cm of snow expected to fall across the country tomorrow
Up to 3 centimetres is expected to fall on several parts of the country tomorrow evening.
Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for a number of counties.
The snow-ice warning is valid from 6pm tomorrow evening lasting until Tuesday morning.
Met Éireann forecaster John Eagleton says the weather warning covers Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford.
He said: "It could occur anywhere really but it is not a very active front but there is very cold air behind it which does lead to sleet and snow."

The snow-ice warning is valid from 6 o'clock tomorrow evening for all of Leinster - as well as the counties of Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford.
Some areas could be hit by up to three centimetres of snow.

John Eagleton weather forecaster with Met Éireann says there is a front moving across the country tomorrow evening and tomorrow night.
He said: "It is not terribly active but it is cold behind it and they may give us some sleet and snow across the country."

A Status Yellow snow and ice warning has been issued by Met Eireann for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Tipperary and Waterford
Met Eireann have warned that falls of snow could occur from Monday evening, with accumulations totalling up to 3cm possible in some areas, leading to treacherous road conditions by Tuesday morning.
The warning is in place from 6pm on Monday until 6am on Tuesday.
It is expected that temperatures will fall to -4C overnight with a widespread frost and the risk of ice on untreated roads and other surfaces.
Road conditions in parts of the country are already being reported as difficult with icy conditions noted on several secondary roads.
