Judge sets 2015 date for trial of three former Anglo officials

A date has been set for the trial of three former Anglo Irish Bank officials who have denied conspiring to commit tax and company law offences.

60-year-old Aoife Maguire of Rothe Abbey, South Circular Road, Kilmainham, Dublin, 65-year-old Bernard Daly of Collins Avenue West, Whitehall, Dublin and 54-year-old Tiarnan O'Mahoney of Glen Pines, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow, are facing charges relating to offences allegedly committed in 2003 and 2004.

Judge Mary Ellen Ring has ordered that the trial - which is expected to last at least four weeks - go ahead on June 3, 2015, at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

The three accused are due before court again for a pre-trial hearing on April 17, 2015.

On a previous date, Dublin District Court heard the case has no factual connection with the recent trial of three former officers of the bank.
