Figures released today show €846,000 is being spent each month on the upkeep of the Criminal Courts of Justice building in Dublin.

That amount covers window-cleaning, security and maintenance, according to The Irish Times, who obtained the details through a Freedom of Information request.

The complex officially opened in 2009 with 22 courts and 450 rooms over 11 storeys.
