The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign say many Irish people are not aware of how serious the crisis in Gaza has become.

Hundreds of protesters marched through Dublin city centre to the Israeli Embassy earlier today.

The UN has called for an immediate ceasefire between both sides in the conflict after reports of 125 deaths in the latest series of Israeli air assaults.

Almost 30 deaths have been reported today alone.

"What I would say to people [is] educate yourself," said campaign chairman Martin O' Quigley.

"Have a look at what organisations like Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch say."
