Modern Irish dads have rated US President Barack Obama as the most "inspiring father".
Irish President Michael D Higgins came in second, followed by Keith Duffy, Ronan O' Gara, Brian O' Driscoll and the character of Walter White, the anti-hero from hit TV show 'Breaking Bad'.
The research carried out for Irish Life also shows that 52% of people refer to their father as "Dad", 11% would say "Da", while just 8% call him "Daddy".
