IDA: Quantcast move will enhance Ireland's technological reputation

100 new Irish jobs will be created over the next two years after Quantcast decided to set up a base here.

The advertising company has revealed plans to establish its Europe Middle East and Africa headquarters in Dublin.

Quantcast is a digital advertising company specializing in audience measurement and real-time advertising

On its website, it claims to have the most in-depth understanding of digital audiences across the web.

Today it has decided to set up camp here in Ireland in an investment supported by the Government through IDA Ireland.

Konrad Feldman, CEO of Quantcast, pointed to Dublin's talent pool and easy access to Europe's major markets as the reasons behind the move.

In announcing the coup for Ireland earlier, Minister for Jobs Richard Bruton said it demonstrates the potential that exists here in this so-called 'Big Data' sector.

Barry O’Leary, CEO of IDA Ireland went one further by saying: "Quantcast’s presence here will bolster Ireland’s reputation as the 'Internet Capital of Europe'."
