Husband of postal worker in hospital after kidnapping ordeal
The husband of a post office worker has been treated in hospital after being held hostage in a 'tiger' kidnapping.
A gang of men held the couple overnight in their Cavan home, before forcing the woman to remove cash from Oldcastle Post Office in Co Meath this morning.
Her husband received minor injuries during the ordeal.
It is unclear how much money was stolen in the raid, and officers are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
