HSE calls for public submissions on suicide prevention

The HSE is calling on members of the public to make submissions about the development of a new national framework for suicide prevention.

The plan, which has been announced by Minister of State at the Department of Health Kathleen Lynch, aims to assist in reducing suicidal behaviour over the next four years.

The National Office for Suicide Prevention wants to hear from members of the public, particularly those with an interest in suicide prevention and those affected by suicide.

The closing date for submissions is Friday, June 6.
