Hogan: I won't be Environment Minister after reshuffle

Phil Hogan has acknowledged that he will not be Environment Minister after the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle.

He has sent out a list of achievements in the Department where he has been Minister since 2011.

It acknowledges that the "general feeling" is that he "will not return to this department".

The 54-page report details his roll-put of the Property Tax and the set-up of Irish Water, lists his actions on Priory Hall, unfinished housing estates and climate change.

Mr Hogan is the frontrunner to be nominated as Ireland's next EU Commissioner.
