High-scoring student was 'quite worried' about Leaving Cert results
The only student in the country who achieved 9 A1s in this year's Leaving Cert exams is celebrating.
Mark Berney attended Gorey Community School, in Co Wexford.
More than 55,000 students are collecting their Leaving Cert results from schools across the country this morning.
Mark Berney has said he had no idea he would get the grades.
Mark said: "Not at all, I was actually quite worried. I had a nightmare the other night that I had to repeat, but instead of repeating just sixth year you had to repeat all six years.

"It still hasn't realy sunk in yet, I am just amazed and delighted. I am hoping to do science in Trinity."
