The Garda Ombudsman has said a woman killed in a crash in Dublin overnight has been identified.

The Garda Ombudsman has said a woman killed in a crash in Dublin overnight has been identified.

43-year-old Sinéad Maguire of Bayview Avenue died after the car she was travelling in hit a lamp post in Fairview just before 2am this morning.

The other two people, the 26-year-old driver and a 20-year-old passenger, remain in hospital.

GSOC have launched an investigation into the incident as the car was being pursued by Gardaí at the time of the crash.
