Members of the Garda Representative Association are protesting outside the negotiations on an extension to the Croke Park Agreement.

GRA members protest outside Croke Park talks

Members of the Garda Representative Association are protesting outside the negotiations on an extension to the Croke Park Agreement.

The GRA said today's protest is to correct the impression that its members opted out of the talks process, or that they are even represented at the pay talks.

The Association said its members are not affiliated to the Irish Congress of Trade Unions and as such are not party to the discussions, the outcome of which which will impact on gardaí.

Protesting gardaí have been brandishing placards with the slogan "1913 lockout - 2013 sellout" and "Shatter'd by the cuts".
