Govt re-opens Embassy in Vatican
The Government's to open a scaled-back Vatican Embassy.
The Cabinet has approved the move as part of eight new embassies and consulates around the world.
Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia and Hong Kong are among other places that will also see diplomatic missions opening.
The decision to re-open an Embassy to the Holy See was taken as Pope Francis was seen as a new and different pontiff.
