The National Treasury Management Agency has sold €2.5bn worth of Irish Government debt today.

Govt debt sale oversubscribed by €7bn

The National Treasury Management Agency has sold €2.5bn worth of Irish Government debt today.

The sale was oversubscribed to the tune of €7bn.

It is understood the interest rate charged was about 3.35%.

Bonds were sold to investment funds across Europe, the UK and the US.
