The Government's new legislation on zero hours contracts is flawed, according to Labour.
They say the new rules do not deal with 'if and when' contracts, where people are not guaranteed any work or compensation.
Labour say the Government's bill means those on 'if and when' contracts won't have access to any of the remedies people on zero hours contracts will benefit from.
Senator Ged Nash says it needs to be changed.
He said: "Fine Gael are saying that they are going to abolish zero hour contracts here in Ireland - we don't have zero hour contract problem.
"We have a problem with 'if and when' contracts - this legislation fails people who are on if and when contract arrangements."
