Gilmore expresses sympathy to Norway on behalf of Ireland

Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has opened up a book of condolences as a mark of sympathy towards the Norwegian people.

Tánaiste Eamon Gilmore has opened up a book of condolences as a mark of sympathy towards the Norwegian people.

The book can be signed by the public from 1pm on Monday.

Mr Gilmore has said he has been in touch with the Norweigen government to express sympathy from Ireland.

Meanwhile, The Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg has said the country has suffered its worst violence since the Second World War.

He has said he knew many of those killed personally.
