A statement on Garth Brooks’ website has confirmed the singer will hold a live press conference on Thursday.
He will stream the conference online at 5pm Irish time.
It remains unclear on whether the county music star will play any of his announced five Irish dates.
A decision on the disputed concerts is expected to be made tomorrow and comes after a statement from Brooks that read: “It is five shows or none at all”.
Rumours are the singer will use Thursday’s press conference to announce either a world tour or a new album – or even both. He may also use the platform to speak on the debacle that has consumed Irish media for the last few days.
The message appeared on Garth’s website today and depending on the outcome of tomorrow’s decision the servers may struggle to accommodate the traffic.
