Detectives want to speak to revellers at a house party after a man was found dead in suspicious circumstances.
The body of the 29-year-old was discovered at a flat in Finglas, north Dublin, at around 11am this morning.
Investigating gardaí said there was a party in the ground-floor flat at Spring Mount Apartments in Wellmount Road last night.
While some of those attending have come forward, they want to interview others who have yet to contact the inquiry team.
The man’s body was discovered in the bedroom of the apartment.
The scene was sealed off and State Pathologist Marie Cassidy carried out a preliminary examination.
The results of a full post-mortem examination are expected to determine the direction of the investigation.
Gardai said they are not naming the dead man until all his family members have been informed.
An incident room has been set up at Finglas Garda Station.
A Garda spokesman said: “Gardai are aware that there was a party taking place at this address last night.
“Although to date a number of people have come forward and assisted Gardai with this investigation, Gardai wish to appeal to any person/persons who may have attended this party between 8pm last night and 7am this morning to come forward.”
They also want to speak to any taxi drivers who may have collected passengers from the party.
