Rank-and-file gardaí will today air their grievances about cutbacks to the force when they meet the Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan in Dublin.
The Garda Representative Association said it would raise concerns with Commissioner Callinan about how pressure on resources is impacting them.
They also intend to discuss the pay cuts that have been proposed as part of the new Croke Park negotiations, from which the GRA has withdrawn.
Gardaí have joined in the 24/7 Alliance, which this week held a 4,000-strong rally of frontline public servants refusing to accept a reduction in their pay and conditions of employment.
Members of the force are legally prohibited from striking, but have said they will no longer use their own mobile phones and cars to perform garda duties, in protest at the proposed cuts.
