Gardaí in Co Louth have seized a large quantity of tobacco and un-distilled alcohol in Dundalk.
Gardaí from the regional support units and the Revenue Customs Service helped local officers to carry out a planned early morning search of a premises at Proleek, Ravensdale.
Tobacco, empty pouches, equipment for sealing pouches and boxes of cigarettes were uncovered.
Alcohol labels and 60 litres of what appears to be un-distilled alcohol were also found.
The value of the haul is being estimated at €850,000.
The scene has been sealed off while investigations continue. No arrests have yet been made.
