Gardaí in Co. Louth have seized around half a million euro worth of counterfeit clothing.

Officers raided a house on Bridge Street in Ardee yesterday afternoon under a Section 25 of the Trades Mark Act, 1996.

They found a substantial amount of clothes with brands such as Adidas, Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren, worth around €500,000.

Some documentation and a large amount of packaging for the resale of the clothing was also seized.

No arrests were made during the search and investigations are ongoing.
