Gardaí investigating the death of a man whose body was found in a bin truck are today asking the public for help in tracing his last movements.
The body of 43-year-old Henryk Piotrowski was found by staff at a refuse and recycling plant at Ballymount on Friday.
He was seen on the South Quays in the early hours of that morning. Officers also think he was in the Dame Street area between 7-10pm the night before.
Gardaí are asking anyone with information to come forward. They have also issued a photo to jog people's memory.
"All of us here were desperately shocked," said Alice Leahy, co-founder of the homeless shelter Trust, where he had recently stayed.
"Nothing, nothing could prepare you for the news that somebody had died in a skip.
"The powers that be can have all the spin they like, but somebody died in a skip and to think that somebody has to seek shelter, no matter where they're from or what their story is, it is shocking."
