Gardaí seek assistance in search for two missing girls

Concern is growing for a missing teenage girl in County Kildare.

17-year-old Kathryn Holligan has been missing from her home in Chanterlands, Athy, Co Kildare since last Wednesday evening.

She is described as about 5ft 2 inches in height, with long brown hair and blue eyes.

There was a reported sighting of Kathryn in Derry City on Thursday afternoon in the company of a boy in his late teens.

UPDATE:

Gardaí are now seeking help locating a second missing teenager: 16-year-old Tammy Duggan, from Macroom in Cork, who has not been seen since yesterday.

She is described as 5 feet and 2 inches tall, of slim build, with brown shoulder length hair and brown-green eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a black jacket and faded blue jeans.

Anyone with information on either girl is asked to contact the gardaí or the PSNI.
