Gardaí are renewing an appeal for information about a missing 53-year-old man from Galway who disappeared 10 days ago.

Gardaí are renewing an appeal for information about a missing 53-year-old man from Galway who disappeared 10 days ago.

Joe Stephens from Oranmore in Co Galway was last seen in Ferbane, Co Offaly, on Tuesday of last week.

At that time, he was driving a navy-coloured Renault Megane (registration number 99G7935). The car is a hatchback model with a large rear spoiler and a very loud exhaust.

Joe is described a 5 foot 4 in height, of stocky build, with sallow skin, blue eyes, and short brown hair balding at the front.

He was wearing a navy polo shirt, blue jeans and a red and black outdoor jacket. He was also wearing a gold necklace and a gold ring on his right hand.
