Gardaí are investigating after the death of a man at a party in a flat in Dublin early this morning.

Two women in their 30s were arrested at the scene and are being questioned at Blanchardstown Garda station.

The body of the man in his thirties was found after Gardaí were called to an apartment in Annaly Grove in Ongar. The scene remains sealed off this morning.

It is understood the man was known to Gardai and he is believed to be a regular drug user.

The State Pathologist has been informed and is expected to carry out a post mortem examination later to determine the cause of death.

The two women are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
