A man in his 20s is being questioned by gardaí in Co Louth in connection with a stabbing incident in Dundalk last night.

A man in his 20s is being questioned by gardaí in Co Louth in connection with a stabbing incident in Dundalk last night.

A 24-year-old man was injured when he was stabbed outside a house on Mill Road in the town at around 10pm.

He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with non-life threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward.
