Gardaí are continuing to question five people this morning after two major drugs seizures over the weekend.

Gardaí are continuing to question five people this morning after two major drugs seizures over the weekend.

Up to €600,000 euro worth of cannabis plant was seized and three men and woman were arrested following a raid on a Cork industrial estate in Frankfield on Saturday.

Yesterday morning, €120,000 worth of cannabis was uncovered during the search of a house in the Fairways area of Carlow town.

A man in late 20s, was taken into custody at the scene.

All five are still being held at various Garda stations around the country.
