Gardaí name man found dead in Offaly drain
Gardaí have named the man found dead in a drain in Co Offaly, as 47 year-old Christy Daly.
His remains were found this morning, just off Bog Road outside Clara, near a caravan and two cars that were burnt out.
The State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy is currently carrying out a post mortem to find out how he died.
An incident room has been set up at Tullamore Garda station and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 057-9327600, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666111 or any Garda Station.
